Compounding Lab Tour - Computer System

Using PK Software's Compounder RX, Specialty Medicine Compounding Pharmacy is able to maintain its use of technology to keep us on the cutting edge of pharmacy compounding.  The Compounder RX is a stand alone or networkable pharmacy system that enables us to fill and track compounded prescriptions with ease.  The Compounder RX allows us to:

• create a separate batch of product for each prescription
• assign a new lot number for each batch of product compounded
• track every chemical that is used in every compound
• assign lot numbers to each prescription so we know which person received which  chemical
• track patients and run prescriptions with great accuracy

The Compounder RX along with our other equipment make compounding a true art form.
