T3 - Wilson's Syndrome

According to Wilsonsyndrome.com, Wilson's syndrome may be the most common and reversible of all thyroid problems.

The symptoms of Wilson's syndrome may mimic hypothyroidism (low thyroid function) but blood tests show normal thyroid levels. Dr. Wilson noticed that certain symptoms responded to doses of T3 (one of the thyroid hormones) and saw body temperature increases. These symptoms even remained improved after discontinuation of therapy.

At Specialty Medicine Compounding Pharmacy we compound T3 (also known as liothyronine or triiodothyronine) into many strengths as sustained released capsules.

We can work with your doctor to supply the proper strengths for you, beginning with a starter pack. If you have questions about compounded thyroid products please contact us.
